We request each type of user to read and agree to the below terms and conditions before starting to use either of SugoiMED, SugoiMED for Doctor, SugoiMED for MR. We will publish here when we make any updates on terms and conditions.

1. HANDLING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We, Nihin Media K.K. (“Company”, “Nihin Media”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), will collect information related to individuals (“Personal Data”) and we consider safeguarding our user’s personal information to be one of our key priorities.

We will be collecting personal information from the users who are interested in knowing more about our solution. The information will be such as Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

The personal information collected on this website will be used only to contact the user to provide more details on our services. We shall not use such personal information beyond the scope of said work without the consent of the people involved or unless otherwise provided for in the laws and regulations.

We may send a verification code or One time password to your mobile phone or email to verify the details you have entered.

We shall only use collected personal information within the scope agreed to with the user who provided the information. Name of medical institution, type of medical institution, location of medical institution, telephone number, name of doctors, specialty, education and job history, graduation year, gender, awards, academic society, historical writings, SNS posts, hobbies, number of beds, hours of operation, website URL, languages supported, payment methods, certification of acceptance of foreign patients

Method of obtaining personal data provided to third parties

Obtained from publicly available information by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and local health bureaus (“List of Medical Institutions Accepting Foreign Patients” and “List of Designated Insurance Medical Institutions and Insurance Pharmacies”)

Obtained from publicly available information on medical institution websites unless they do not prohibit from sharing with third parties

Method of provision to third parties

Provide through a web-based service accessible only to registered users of the “SugoiMED” mobile application, who reside in Japan.

Provide excel based database to those who purchased the data through emails or FTP server.

How to accept the person’s request

Method of updating personal data provided to third parties

Check the MHLW’s list of new and discontinued medical institutions on a monthly basis and make additions and deletions to the existing list.

Check the MHLW list and websites of medical institutions once a quarter to see if it has been updated, and if so, update the list with the new list.
